Wanted on Voyage sounds like driving through wine country feels. You'll think George has taken you on a thousand mile journey without ever leaving your house. From Amsterdam, to Barcelona and Budapest. His distinctive voice sounds like the hills of Tuscany but the music sounds like the comfort of home. Wanted on Voyage reminds me of a case of wine from different wineries. Each song/bottle offers something different and unique. When you listen and drink that wine, you can hear and taste how deep its roots are.
"Barcelona" moves me and is a major vibe. Like that bottle of wine you had on a special occasion that you can still taste and want to drink it over and over. "Barcelona" should always be on the menu. This song is on repeat at the airport in both the departure and arrival terminals. I play it when I am away from my fiancee. A euphoric feeling courses through my veins, knowing how much I miss her and how much she means to me. A smile appears on my face, knowing I'll see her again in a few days.
So pop the cork of this album, a bottle of wine and let go. Pair any wine with this album, but I would recommend anything red.
