Hinds, the four woman group based in Madrid, has quite a unique sound. Their new age pop-punk hybrid is fun to listen to, but deviant enough to not settle into either genre alone. Utilizing chanting harmonies on many tracks, they make you want to chant along with them. Just when you think you have them figured out, they break into a psychedelic interlude on “This Moment Forever”. They made a fan out of me from this record.
